Year Four - Royal College of Music Concert

Year 4 attended a concert at the Royal College of Music on Friday 19 May 2017. They watched percussion students perform a number of exciting works. "What a brilliant show!"

Percussion Workshops

Past student, Jamie Truglia-Nutty, gave percussion workshops in Year 3, 4, 5 &6. We learnt to play in an ensemble and play different rhythms at the same time.

Dear Year 3 parents,

Please help encourage your child to practise the recorder at home. We have a great online resource where they can practise the songs we have been playing in class. Your child should have received a username and password. Please let me know if your child needs another copy of the welcome letter.

*Login using details on welcome sheet given to child

*Click on recorder world

*Go to the moon to see recorder homework

*Have fun playing with the backing track and fingering

Thank you for your support in encouraging your child to practise using the resource.

 Best wishes,

Miss Hyland - Music Teacher
