Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club – September 2019

The governors of the school organise for a Breakfast Club to run each day during term time. The Breakfast Club is supervised by Mrs Lucy Fitzgerald, who already works at the school as a Teaching Assistant, Mid-day Supervisor and also helps run the after-school Learning Centre.

The Breakfast Club is open each day from 8.00 to 8.55 a.m. The children attending are served a light breakfast of cereal, toast and fruit juice. There are also opportunities for pupils to participate in a daily activity organised by the Breakfast Club member of staff, as well as to read and play indoor board games.

The daily cost of the Breakfast Club from September 2019 will be £8.00 per day (£6.00 per day for pupils eligible for the Pupil Premium Grant) and booking is essential, as there are only 8 places available at the Breakfast Club.  Priority for places will be given to children in the Foundation Stage and Key Stage One classes (Reception to Class Two); if places are still available then children from the Key Stage Two classes will be given an opportunity to attend.

If you are interested in using the Breakfast Club, please complete a Breakfast Club Registration form and Booking form and return them to the school with the correct payment.

If you have any questions regarding the organisation of the Breakfast Club, please feel to Mrs Petrovic (Breakfast Club administrator) or to Mr Doyle (Headteacher)

We are working to introduce a new healthier Breakfast Club menu.

The aim of the healthier breakfast club menu will be to provide a good balance and variety of food and drinks over a period of time. It will aim to ensure that the needs of pupils and staff are being met, and will encourage the whole school community to eat breakfast and try something new.

The menu will be based on advice on the sample menu below:
